Additionally, we provide different natural woodgrain foil finishes that mimic the rough appearance of wood or timber. A normal White interior and a distinct foil colour for the outside finish are included in our dual colour options.
A British Fenestration Ratings Council (BFRC) approved simulator has calculated the Window Energy Rating for ECOSlide windows.
To improve the thermal performance of the windows, thermal inserts made from 100% recycled PVC-U are inserted in the manufacturing process. These multi-chambered extruded inserts are lighter and offer better fixing screw retention during window installation, and they are significantly more thermally efficient than conventional steel bars.
The ECOSlide window has successfully passed independent testing at a UKAS test facility in accordance with BS.6375 Part 1 “Performance of Windows: Classification for Weathertightness” and the test assessment procedures outlined in BS.5368. The results show that “Severe” weather conditions will be met by the ECOSlide vertical sliding sash window’s tested Weather Performance Rating.
